Thanks for checking out my website.  It’s a perpetual work in progress, but I hope you enjoy what’s here so far.  I’m a 5-8, 250-pound, 35-year old “cub.”  I live in Central Florida in a town called Oviedo with my partner Eric (www.vmbear.com) and our cat Bob. Oviedo is about 20 minutes NE of Orlando.  I’m currently a health insurance coordinator for a large specialists office in Orlando, but that’s hardly who I am.  I’ve worked in several different fields, from graphic art and design to banking to baking.  I worked in the NYC food and service industry for many years, and I do still love to entertain.  But these days I prefer to cater to my friends and family for my own enjoyment. 

 

My real passion has always been music.  I like most genres, but admittedly I’m a rabid fan of house/dance/trance music.  I’ve even been known to DJ here and there when the opportunity calls.  For those interested in my DJ info, click here.  If you’re curious to hear the kind of music I spin, click here to check out my station on Live365.

 

I was honored to be an active member of the Bears of Central Florida, sitting on three Bear Bust committees, and most recently serving as the Vice President and Bear Bust Chairman for 2005.  I met lots of great people over those years and if you’ve attended Bear Bust anytime from 2002 thru 2005, then you may recognize me as the person primarily responsible for the thump, thump, thump of the afterhours parties, or what several bear friends have lovingly referred to as “the loud racket that went on until the wee hours of the night.” 

 

Although I’m no longer with the Bears of Central Florida, I loved the work of putting on events that bring the bear and chub/chaser community together in one place, so along with a few close friends, I’ve taken on a new project, the Tidal Wave party, an exclusive evening hours party at Wet ‘n Wild Orlando which will coincide with the annual Gay Days at Orlando.  The inaugural Tidal Wave will be held Friday, June 1, 2007 from 7pm to midnight, and will be closed to the public!  There will be lots of music, dancing and of course all the attractions that Wet ‘n Wild has to offer!  Please visit the website and hopefully we’ll see a lot of you there.
